Comprehensive Health Guarantee
All kittens purchased from Joan Kittens come with a comprehensive health guarantee to ensure your satisfaction and the well-being of your new feline companion. Within 3 days of purchasing your kitten, it is mandatory to take them to a licensed veterinarian for a thorough examination.
If the veterinarian determines, within this period, that your kitten is clinically ill or has succumbed to an injury or illness contracted on or before the date of sale, you have several options.
Options include returning the kitten for a complete refund, exchanging it for a replacement of equal value, or retaining the kitten and receiving reimbursement for reasonable veterinary fees, not exceeding the purchase price. These options do not apply if the seller discloses, in writing at the time of sale, a health problem for which the buyer later seeks a return.
If, within 30 days of purchase, a licensed veterinarian determines a congenital or hereditary defect affecting the kitten’s health, you have the same options outlined above. Notification to the seller must occur within 2 days of the vet’s certification of your pet’s illness.
By purchasing a kitten from us, you agree to certain responsibilities, including promptly taking the kitten to the vet within 48 hours of its arrival, avoiding exposure to diseases, and adhering to necessary vaccinations and de-worming protocols. The health guarantee is null and void if the kitten is sold to a third party, and normal precautions aren’t taken. We are not responsible for veterinarian bills incurred by the purchaser after the kitten leaves our possession.
Additionally, for certain breeds or kittens with special needs, extra care may be required. These kittens may have specific conditions or care instructions to ensure their well-being and suitability for your household.
